Protecting Your Loved Ones In The Military

This blog is addressed to anyone who has a family member in the military service.  We at Antioch are praying for you and your loved ones in the service.  God has given some promises to those who are in covenant with Him.  As a child of God, you are afforded many special graces from God.  One of these blessings is the authority to release angelic protection over your family members who serve in the military.  God’s promise is that the angels will keep them from harm or death as they serve our country.  This protection covers them not only in peace time, but also in a time of war on the battlefield.

God’s chosen people, Israel, were afforded victory and protection in battle as long as they kept their relationship right with Him.  Hebrews 1:13-14 says this about the angels:

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

The angels have been sent to minister for us.  You, as a Christian, have the right to release the angels of God to protect your sons, daughters, husbands, wives, or other relatives who are active in the military.  Speak the promises of God over their lives and trust Him to protect them, even in the most perilous times.  Look at what God promises in Psalms 103:20:

20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

The word hearkening means to listen to what is said, understand what is said, and then perform what is said.  This is a promise from God!

Look at what God promises us in Psalms 91:9-12

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

So I encourage you to send your angels forth, and command them to protect your family members while they fight to protect our country!  We at Antioch are in complete agreement with you.

Be blessed always,

Apostle R.C. Baldwin

Happy Veterans Day!

Veterans Day 2011

God Has Not Forgotten You

God has not forgotten the soldiers who have risked their lives for God and country.  So many times our soldiers are forgotten and their sacrifices are not even considered.  As I go throughout life, I see so many Veterans with missing limbs, ailments, and other physical and mental challenges.  My word to our Veterans today, is that God has not forgotten nor forsaken you.  He is raising up men and women who are anointed by God, to minister life and healing to our unappreciated Veterans.  God has promised healing in His Word to those who come to Him for mercy and peace.  To those of you, who feel neglected; listen to what God says in Hebrews chapter 13 verse 5:

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

To all of our Veterans, God is offering you hope and understanding.  We desire for you to be filled with all the fullness of God’s blessings.  Know that there are people who are anointed to pray for you, minister to you, love you, and comfort you by His precious Holy Spirit.  Healing in all forms is available to you.  God can turn your hopeless situations into beachheads of confidence and victory.  You are loved, honored and respected.  We at Antioch, appreciate your sacrifices made to protect our freedom to live in a society where we can be allowed to worship God without persecution.

You have been our defense and our protection.  You have sacrificed your lives.  You have suffered the ills of rejection even from the very countrymen that you sacrificed your lives and health to protect.  For those ills, we at Antioch repent, and ask for your forgiveness.  We will encourage you, pray for you, and support you to the best of our God-given abilities.  Know this for a fact: God has not forgotten you and neither have we.

Be blessed and live, for with God, all things are possible.
